Austin: Jeff and I demo'ed an unfinished version of this song before CMKT 4 formed when he and I were recording together at the 7th St. Space. It was, I believe, about a conversation between a fly and a spider. We were actively trying to come up with a new song and I proposed the song we never finished. We didn't care for the way the lyrics were working, so we revamped them and finally got somewhere with it that we liked. It was a hard fought attempt to pound out a song but it worked and ended up with interesting structure.
