Austin: I remember smoking a cigarette on Zach's second story back porch, when we were still recording EPs up there, and watching a bumblebee fly by above the grass below. The first verse of lyrics came to me after what I saw. I came inside, Zach said something like "I have this song, but no lyrics to go with it," and it so happened that the syllables of the lyrics fit well to the beginning riff. Zach ran with it and came up with the rest of the lyrics.
