Austin: This suite of songs from Zach was typically longer than you hear here, we aborted the last portion, Purple Flowers, over a slight error. All these songs were recorded live at my place by Michael Taylor over the course of several weeks and we got the takes that we got. What you hear at the end is a fragment of Purple Flowers, which has more music and (Zach's) lyrics. You can hear versions of this suite on our Dirty Science EP, and also Side Bee 2011. Mike suggested that we keep this one with a fade and it seemed to dovetail nicely with some of my notoriously track-spoiling on-mic yammering on the next track, which seemed serendipitous, so he and I decided to include it all.
